Description
Seeking a sharp individual who learns quickly.
Healthcare Consultant – This position entails supporting physicians and their staff in medical practices across West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Additional clients are located in other states as far away as Florida and some travel will be required from time to time.
Services provided include electronic health records and billing software setup, implementation and training. In addition, we provide practice workflow analysis, Meaningful Use consulting and hardware troubleshooting.
Our wide range of service offerings requires the individual to have a diverse skill set. The applicant is not required to be an expert in all areas but must be strong in some. We will provide additional training to round out your knowledge.
Applicant should have knowledge in some of the following areas:
1 - Experience working in a medical practice in a clinical or business office capacity using computers and EHR software.
2 - Experience troubleshooting issues with workstations, servers, networks, printers and fax servers in any office environment.
3 - Experience supporting end users (a super user) in a medical practice or working as a software trainer in any line of business.
4 - Experience providing technical support over the telephone or in person and having a comfort level working with groups and keeping groups on track.
5 - Consulting experience in healthcare or another line of business where the applicant analyzed workflow issues and provided suggestions and implementation assistance to change processes within the practice and/or business.
6 - Outgoing and engaging personality with firmness to hold ones ground when the client needs to stay on track.
7 - Programming skills in .net, Apple Cocoa, SQL server, etc.
Most applicants will not have all of the above skills. We are open to helping you grow if you are able to offer some of these skills.
