Description
For over 30 years, Analogic’s BK Medical product brand has been devoted to the development and production of high quality ultrasound solutions. We develop, manufacture, and market ultrasound systems for urology and surgery markets. We also provide service on Analogic’s digital radiographic systems for emergency, general and orthopedic imaging. Our field service engineers ensure the highest level of service to our customers consistent with the BK Medical brand as an industry leader in ultrasound and digital radiographic systems.   

The successful field service engineer candidate will
•        work closely with our customers to provide technical product support activities including installation, repair, preventive maintenance, and product upgrades
•        perform recommended preventive maintenance, calibration, and certification on BK Medical equipment
•        analyze malfunctions and determine proper operation
•        use standard test instruments and hand tools to install equipment or replace parts or components
•        provide phone support and troubleshooting assistance to customers
•        respond to customer calls during non-business hours


Skills
Qualifications
•        associate’s degree in electronics technology or equivalent
•        three or more years of related service experience of medical ultrasound and/or X-ray systems
•        experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment
•        proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics
•        knowledge of information systems
•        familiarity with DICOM protocols, PACS, and Windows OS computers and networking
•        excellent communications skills coupled with a professional manner
•        strong organization and time management skills
•        ability to work independently as well as part of a field service team
•        possess a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.


Notes
BK Medical offers a competitive salary, a monthly car allowance, comprehensive benefits, and training on our products. This position requires moderate travel primarily within the assigned territory. There will be occasional overnight travel.
